SnowKeli is a small kennel located in Northern NSW, owned by Matt Kane. The name Snowkeli was derived from some thought and research. Keli is aboriginal for dog, so the theory behind this kennel name is the Australian Snow Dog! My love of this breed started when I was 15 years old, working as a Veterinary Nurse I saw my first siberian husky. From that day I had to have one. My first husky ,"KARNU" came along when I was 21-my real live birthday present. I now have 3 huskies and would love more which will hopefully come along one day.
(Photo by:Southern Exposure) The most important aspect about my dogs is that they are my pets firstly and show dogs second. Having worked as a Veterinary nurse for almost 15 years I've seen and learnt alot. Back in 1993 my interest moved towards animal behaviour and training, when I started puppy preschool classes at the Vet Hospital I was working at. Over the years I have studied courses under numerous leaders in this field. Being a qualified Vet Nurse I confidently know what's required in complete kennel management. One thing I have put into practice in my kennels is the raising and training of my puppies. All puppies go to their new homes with a sense of BALANCE and HARMONY in their life, free of any hereditary diseases as all parents are tested for hip and eye defects. I'm only new to the show world, but learn more and more everyday. I'm lucky enough to have an excellent foundation bitch in Cheyenne and only want to improve from here |
